what is VCO

hi friends
just want to know what is VCO function in mobile phone and i m also looking for VCO with the range of Min. 750 - mix 1060.0 mhz.. plz help
 
VCO is a "Voltage Controlled Occilator" it is used because mobile phones jump carrier frequency alot and use in FM and PM carriers (but mainly PM)
