ericgibbs Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member Jul 7, 2008 #3 hi, As Ken says they are IDC. Normally they are polarised, a raised area on the cable socket mates with a recess in the plug body [pcb end] You can buy the female headers with quick release levers, which are fitted to the ends of the plug. Use a bench vice , carefully, to connect the ribbon cable to the header Last edited: Jul 7, 2008
