Hi, bit of a newbie question I guess, but I have a capacitor marked 2A104J. I understand the 104 means 10 plus 4 zeros pF, so 100,000pF, & I think the J means +/- 5% tolerance, but what does the 2A mean? Appreciate any help, thanks.

It's likely a product designation number unique to the manufacturer of the capacitor.

As a prefix, Voltage for some companies

1H=50
1J=63
2A=100
2D=200
2E=250
2G=400
2J=630
