What a match. The French fought hard and fairly. The All Blacks won squarely by only one point.

Our South African referee Craig Joubert did an excellent job of the match. Refereed brilliantly. Here a link to his appointment and so on: **broken link removed**

Great stuff. A ref can make or break a game. Craig made the game.

What a final

If they are the all blacks why are there at least four white guys on the team as the picture shows???

And why is that one guy looking like he just poo'd himself? Did he just find out he is not black?

tcm.
Shirts and shorts... [I had to be careful spelling that]

I never did understand how they named sports teams anyway.

Are those guys soccer players or sumo wrestlers?

Hi D,
Guess you have never played rugby, its a game that uses a lot of both.!

E

BTW soccer is Brit for football.

Thanks guys, That All Blacks / France 8 -7 win was a very close game exciting till the last seconds.
Auckland today had a big parade going through down town with about 250,000 people out on the streets to greet the team.

The French did played actually a lot more structured throughout the game then the AB's.
We unfortunately lost some of our top players in the earlier rounds of the Rugby tournament.

But our guys did very well, and deserve the win and now a well deserved rest period

tvtech, as a fellow South African I truly believe it should have been the Springboks against the All Blacks in the final. All we can do now is sing the song "Bokke moenie worry oor die ref nie" (Translated "Springbucks, don't worry about the referee")
