The datasheet lists the output power at a horrible-sounding 10% clipping distortion.
The amplifier is clipping because its volume control is turned up way too high to make more output power as square-waves.
With a 6V supply and an 8 ohm load, 325mW is listed but the graph of its distortion shows that it clips at an output power of only 200mW.
