Water sensor/temp display

Is it possible to make a 8 or 10 LED display from a temp sensor outputting Ohms (resistance)

If lowest reading is 160c = 150 ohm
and highest is 296c = 20ohm


Im not sure if possible to make a digital readout of the rough temp too with the details above.?

Any schematics will help so i can learn more, (im a amateur)

hi,
You could consider the LM3914, 10 LED display, either as 'bar' or a 'dot' display.
The LM3914 accepts a low voltage 'dc' input and it can be configured to start at 160Cdeg [ lowest LED]
to 296Cdeg [highest LED]

Thats about 13Cdeg/LED.

You would connect the resistive sensor in series with a resistor to make a potential divider.
The output of the divider would be the input voltage to the LM3914.
