I am designing and building a system which uses time multiplexing of displays. the system takes three 16-bit inputs,A,B and C and using a multiplexer and LUTs the outputs for each are displayed on four seven segment displays.

I want to know how to:

(1) Displays values with decimal points(e.g 8.2 or 25.6) where the decimal point is variable.

(2) How do i get to also display like units (e.g 8.2 V for 8.2 volts or 0.5 A for 0.5 amperes-current,etc)?

(3)How do i suppress the leading zeros so that 08.2V can be displayed as 8.2V?

If anyone wants more info email me @ gyasi1@hotmail.com and we'll correspond.(Please put email subject: Display Unit Help)
