Hero999 Banned Jul 22, 2008 #16 I doubt you know your stuff if you're planning to use an SCR as a voltage regulator. It certainly isn't the best thing to use and is useless at DC unless you're usng it for overvoltage protection. Just use an LM317, LM78xx or a switching reglator like everyone else.
