what do the stars mean on data sheets..

if one goes to page two and looks under any particular specification there may be a star one one of the fields.

does that mean it is the same value as written in the previous column? thats all i can think of, i just need to clarify.

Yes.

This is a family of isolation amplifiers.
If you look at the notes at the bottom of page 2, it says "Specifications same as AD204J".
It would have been obvious (and much better) if they had written "* Specifications same as AD204J".

Writing the information like this allows them to just show the differences in specification between the different variants of the product.
