Vero board cutting

Junior hacksaw.

I use a miniature (e.g., 4") table saw with carbide tipped blade. That also works well to isolate tracks with copper plated PCB. A guillotine type vinyl tile cutter also works well:

I then finish on a hobbyist belt (1") or disk sander.

I just nick the edge in line with a row of holes, then bend it starting from the nick - it snaps along the selected row of "perforations".

For better accuracy (or with fibreglass laminate stripboard), score both sides heavily along a row of holes with a sharp knife & steel rule as a guide, then snap along the score.

File the cut edge to smooth it & remove any ragged bits.

I find that with some type of board, trying to use actual cutters (eg/ tinsnips or similar) causes cracking away from the cut line, due to the sharp bending at the cutting point.

Cut a V with a "box cutter" on one side (keep the ruler in place, just tilt the knife with each pass). Then put it in a vise (closing the vise right at the V-score) then snap it off.

Otherwise, use a jigsaw, band saw, CO2 laser or anything else you want to do.

Heavy duty knife ( Stanley , score both sides twice. , then against a flat surface snap it down the line, tidy with sand paper, ( the dust is not good for lungs )

A big pair of tin snips work too.
