Varying Voltage

Guys I wanna design a circuit that has many sub circuits attached to it and I should be able to adjust the voltage in each sub circuit while current is runninng through it.

Its for my college project "Intelligent Grid".

How many sub circuits and what voltages do they use?

What load is each sub circuit carrying?
