Wavelength is the distance over which the wave's shape repeats. (meters or feet, distance)
Frequency is the number of complete cycles per second in alternating current direction. (cycles per second)
The two are 1/x related to each other.
I do not understand "hit the wall". I think you are asking about, why is light dimmer at a distance.
Light a candle. Put it inside a cup. One candle of light is spread out over the area of one cup.
Now move the candle to a large room. The same one candle of light is not spread out over one room. It is 1/1000 as bright.
Now move the candle to a foot ball field. The same amount of light is spread out over the field and is 1/100000000 as bright.
The farther away you are from the source the bigger area the light covers, and the less light makes it to your eye.
i have heard shorter wavelength penetrate much(x-rays).in way decreasing order.visible rays doesnt penetrate.but radio waves is very low wavelength is too low but penetrate ,how this is possible(radio waves penetrate walls and reach to phone)
