User Interface using PIC 16F877 and PIC PLUs plus 2 demo

Hi
Does any1 have any c code i could use with the pic 16F877 and the demo board to create a user interface? I want to be able to use the LCD display on the Board.

Which board are you using? If you are using the picdem 2 plus, it should come with a CD of examples.

they are in assembly, but i need them in C.yeah thats the board.

I've played with that board before and implemented the LCD interface in CCS. But I've lost the files. Basically, it's the same as interfacing any other HD44780 LCD controllers. The only weird thing I remember is that it's interfaced to the upper half of portB or something. Don't quote me for this as it's been donkey years.

Otherwise, no harm taking a look at the asm code. It's good learning this way as well.
