If you have told/shown whatever it is to anyone without having them bound by a non-disclosure agreement then the info is already in the public domain as far as the law is concerned. Certainly the circuit I posted is in the public domain, so no valid patent can be issued for that, or for any obvious (to technical people) derivative of it.
