You have 3 basic speed settings for USB
1. normal speed 1.5Mbps (USB 1.1, USB 2.0)
2. full speed 12Mbps (USB 1.1, USB 2.0)
3. high speed 480Mbps (USB 2.0)
"range" if you are asking about speed range, it is 1.5 - 480Mbps depending on the standard, if you are asking about "length", max cable length is 5m without repeaters (hub is also repeater) and IIRC 25m total length (with repeaters).
for realtime video stream 1.5Mbps is enough for some basic quality, for broadcast quality you need 4-40Mbps depending on the "action" and depending on the encryption, resolution etc.
