ultrasoon question

i have a ultrasoon from a alarm, its from a gt or a tex
you know these things there are normally at your window in your car.

but i want to use this thing only one, on my own project.

how can i use this thing so it wil sense movement and that i can adjust it.

a smaller option is also welcome

I want to put it in a rc car, so everything needs to be small, and i want to try to use mij components i have over here.

does anyone has a schema, or can give me a direction were to look.

For the car-alam designed ultrasonic devices contains an transmitter and receiver transducer-pair. As i know this will work as movement detector only in closed (and not too big) room. The decection system use the Doppler-effect.

so if i am right

the ultrasoon are to sensors 1 is an input and the other is a output

so i need both at least to get it to work.
1 will be de transmitter
1 will be de receiver.
