does anyone know what the slew rate is for a UART transmitter on the PIC? for example a bit stream sent out which transmits at an instance from Logic 0-1 on the PIC would take how long?

thanks!;)

I think you are asking about the rise and fall time of a pin on a PIC.
That depends on the supply voltage! (5 volts or 1.8 volts) What part, pic16f, pic 18f. What speed grade, 4mhz or 40mhz. (Old part or new part.) What load is on the pin.
The rise and fall time is in the order of 2 to 10nS.
