this was another concept that i came across on the net...
the idea is to build a decoder for ir tv remote controls... each function in an ir remote control unit is done by sending out a particular code.. (1s and 0s)... this will be different for different manufacturers...
how can we build this circuit that can detect this code so that we come to know about the function the user wants to perform?
i guess we need an IR reciever and a microcontroller probably....
