Hi all,

I have a power supply with a similar design to the attached image (currently using a mechanical switch). I need to turn the power supply on automatically using a DC voltage and after some time turn it off (perhaps after the removal of the DC voltage). I have a DAQ running LabView at my disposal and will be using that to generate the triggering DC voltages. I am, however, unsure of the required switch circuit. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for any help.

hi,
A simple way would be to use a relay, say with a 12Vdc or 24Vdc operating coil.
The relay contacts would be rated for the local mains supply voltage and current required.
