Hello guys,
Need help on how to compute the ff:
# of turns in primary and secondary.
Size of wire to be use. the current rating. Thus the wire size affect the current rating. Core size.

thanks

In order to get the thurns you need to spesefy the primary and secunary voltege..

If the transformer pases high cunents it must have thick wire.Or else ti will ower heat.

To have the transformer operating the best you also need to have the inductance and the freqency.

Core size will be determined by frequency of operation (core losses). The more losses you have in core, the larger it has to be so that surface area can dissipate heat. If sized too small, you run the risk of extreme temperature rise and loss of magnetic properties. Look at mfg data on cores you are considering.
