TPS2030P - Overcurrent Chip Question

HI all,

I"m looking into an over current chip from TI which I would like to use in a +5V system. It is used for a peripheral(trackball) which connects up into my board. The peripheral typically sucks down 25mA of current. The TPS2030P says that at 300mA it will go into a constant current mode where it will shut the chip off once it reaches the shutoff temperature.

Has anybody used this chip and is it a good option for me? Also do I have it connected up correctly?
