The Orion spacecrafts initial launch was supposed to be today, but after wind delays and some technical issues, it was scrubbed. The Launch is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:05am EST. I wasnt alive to see The Apollo space program, But I find this to be very exciting . Orion will be the next spacecraft to possibly take us to Mars. The amount of engineering that went into this spacecraft is phenomenal!

I did see live lift offs on TV as well as the moon landing on TV.
I've seen the Apollo capsule up close and personal in a museum. I've been to three: Cape Canaveral, FL; , Smithsonian in Washington DC and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Virginia. To dwarf that, Kitty Hawk, N.C. What I remember most about that trip were the size of the flies (insects) and their bites.
