A quick look at the "organic" (crude oil is also 'organic') redox chemistry reveals a pretty toxic electrolyte stew after use that must be recycled off-site unless you want to deal with the sludge. Organics means critters will find a way to grow in it. If the waste can be safely and cheaply recycled hundreds to thousands of times that would be a breakthrough to rival conventional batteries.
