there is a debate within the pyro / firework community as to whether you wire series or parallel... with series you can detect if any device is at fault, but if one device is at fault non fire, and if one device has a different type of fuse which blows slightly quicker than the others, only that device will blow... with parallel you have no way of checking if a single device has failed, but all working devices will always blow...
 
What's wrong with wireing them in parallel but issolating them at the control panel so that you could monitor each one? Would require a lot of wire though.
