I am using PIC16F872 and .I want to know how I can make a real time clock based on timer 1 interrupt

HI

One thing you can do is....

1)You can write an UART based routine to set the current time through
hyperterminal.

2)Set the timer interrupt to maybe 1 second..or even less for more accuracy.

3)But if the power down condition occurs...Then this will not work....
U may give some battery for your controller....which will supply power in power down condition.

4)Or u must set time once again once the power comes....

Nothing will work unless you do

If you don't know how to use a search engine then you are not going to pass your course. And, how do you know it starts AN?
