how can i make something tilt and pan, without the linkages between the servos being stressed, eg if the up/down servo is in use the left/right linkage would be twisted?

im trying to use servos to move a pannel, a good example is a electric car wing mirror, how does that mechanical mechanism work?

thanks

Very basic, or I'll get lost...

Servo1: controls up/down
Servo2: controls left/right

Servo2 is on the same platform that your 'something' is on.
Servo2 operates in the normal manner.

Servo1 is on a mount.
Servo1 controls the platform that Servo2 and 'something' are attached to.

Does that make sense? :)
