ALL about PIC
U use assembly for programming the PIC??? If not, then why???
Which complier u use for programming the PIC???
Why u use that complier???
Is ur complier is FULL version or demo??
What is it's demo limit???
Which complier u like (u prefer)???

Started from Me:
May be some of u already know that i am new to programming.

U use assembly for programming the PIC??? If not, then why???
I use assembly but i dislike when it comes to math.
Which complier u use for programming the PIC???
I use MikroC complier for programming the PIC.
Why u use that complier???
Because it is enough neat(i think) and it supports all the PICs.
Is ur complier is FULL version or demo??
My complier is DEMO version.
What is it's demo limit???
And it is limit to 2KByte program.
Which complier u like (u prefer)???
I prefer Assembly for short program.

No assembly. Too lazy/tired to learn yet ANOTHER one. If I need more memory or speed I buy a larger/faster PIC.
Use CCS full version for the PIC16
Use the student/free MCC18? (microchip) for the PIC18
I started with the CCS demo compiler with a 2K limit and purchased it when I hit the 2K limt. I guess that bit of marketing worked.
At this point I like the CCS better but I just started with the 18s so that may change.

Use some assembly(still learning). Found basic was great to do quick
projects. Have full versions of MBasic, PICBasic, also the SX chips with
their Assm. Found it be very helpful to have different PIC programmers.
Sometimes you run into problems with erasing/programming with different
programmer. Check out the Inchworm programmer for a low cost debugger.
Well worth the price.
