The OOpic and DC motors

I was wondering if the OOpic can use pwms to control a regular dc motor (not a servo). And if it can how do you connect them? Just directly on to the oopic (with the power source for them inbetween?)

An OOPic is basically just a PIC with a program already written inside it, so just like a normal PIC it can only provide 20mA or so. This is much too low to drive a motor, for a single direction you could use a simple transistor driver, or for bi-directional, an H-Bridge.

There are various projects on the OOPic website dealing with motors and robots.
