Hello, I am new to this, can anyone please tell me how do you test for dc voltage on a tv circuit board, when the ac line cord is connected directly to the mainboard? Thanks, redhare67:eek:

Verrrrry carefully

Powering your board via an isolation transformer can increase your safety margin. Hold your breath while probing.

Just use a multimeter, you're going to have to be extremely careful about your environment though. If this is a CRT TV you'll have to be even more careful the voltages in there can kill.
