Hi all
I have this scope. Its the transistor fet version. It works great. Just busy calibrating it, and found that the channel 2 trace shifts upward when I pull the invert switch.
Is this normal? If not how do I fix it.
I am not familiar with the 453, but these type of scopes often have a preset control accessible through the front panel and marked "Balance".
If you can find it, give it a tweak as you switch the invert on/off and see what happens.
