Tachometer Pickup conditioning.

Im trying to build a digital rpm gauge for a harley motorcycle built around a pic processor. does anyone have circuit ideas for signal conditioning? My pickup will be from the positive side of the coil.Thanks in advance.

just see which is suitable for u.

and can u share ur circuits details of tacho.actually iam also trying to make one,but i want LED based not LCD.i will be thankful if u can help me.

Search this forum for "Tachometer". There have been a few lately including some good info and what voltages you are working with.
