switch help plz

You don't say so in your post, but I am assuming that you are talking about a standard 2-lead DC motor. You can use any DPDT (double-pole, double throw) switch that:

1. is not momentary in nature (unless momentary action is what you want);
2. is rated for the voltage and current anticipated in the operational circuit; and
3. meets your physical mounting and connection requirements.

Here is a schematic of the switch in circuit, and an illustration of the proper connections to a standard DPDT switch:
