Also do suggest a substitute for the diode 1N914

2N4870 :p-type Unijunction 2N4891
Also do suggest a substitute for the diode 1N914:1N4148/9, BAW62/76, BAX95, 1N4446...49

If you are still looking for those transistors: If you go to a manufacturers websit, like TI or NEC, and search on the part number they will give you the equivalant transistor. I seem to remember subbing a 1N2004 for a 1N914 in a tech school project.
