hi,
does anyone has any idea on how to connect to a PCB header besides using wire wrapping method? is there any connector that can fit perfectly on a two-way PCB header?

Depends on your pin spacing. A lot are on standard 0.1" IC spacing but not all. You might try using a SIP socket. Also, check these guys out. They send samples if you're a pro.

thanks for the replies. i went through the websites that your guys suggested. yesterday, when i was repairing my sister's pc, i saw a type of connector used with ribbon cable connected to a double row pcb header on the motherboard. it was called Insulation Displacement Connector (IDC). can anyone tell me how to connect ribbon cable to idc connector? is there a special tool used?

Yes, there are special tools used (available where you get the connectors from), but you can do small quantities using a small vice.
