Strat single coil pickups - can you tell MIJ from MIAmer?

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between MIJapan pkups and MIAmerican pkups? ie MIJ Strats used usa made and Japanese made pkups in certain strats, how can one tell the difference when the bobbins, flatwork, cloth wiring look the same.
Thanks, its bugging me.
(Pics are my 1992 - '93 MIJ '62 strat neck pkup = 5.9 Ohms).

A long shot but….. worth a try.
Have you checked the screw size? Are they Imperial or Metric.

Ah yes ill check, usa would be (are still) imperial. Not such a long shot - maybe the only factor.

If you can't tell the difference, why is it important?
Which do you perceive as "better", MIJapan (the country of Nikon, Seiko, Toyota) or MIAmerica (the country of Kodak, Timex and Plymouth).

The difference reflected the original guitar prices, its questioned with these ongoing guitar values, and, i dont know; so for obvious reasons.
