Hello.
I have a dead power supply having controller ic STR-A6079M.
datasheet available at

STR-A6079M ｜Sanken Electric

As this is not available , i would like to know the compatible IC that can be used in the power supply.

Unlikely, and it's not really an IC at all - it's a hydrid circuit built on a thick film.

Such devices are an absolute nightmare, usually only available for a fairly short time.

Best source could well be the actual manufacturer of the appliance itself?, who 'may' have ordered and keep reasonable levels of the modules for service purposes - but once they are gone, they are gone.

The nearest I know of in a "single chip" type setup is the ST VIPER22

It's not directly interchangeable, but may well be adaptable to work in that circuit.

I got about 6 of them the datasheet was hard to find about 2 weeks ago tho
