Stepper motor question??

625/250=2.5

Step Rate = 2.5 degrees/step
you would have to have 144steps/revolution stepper motor to get the 2.5 degrees /step rate.
Very odd!
Are you sure it's advancing with every step?



Most steppers have 48 step per revolution (7.5 degrees/step or 3.75degrees per half step).

Not really, 1.8 degrees per step (200 per rev.) is quite common too, for applications where a smoother output is required.
