hello friends........
i have just started to build some simple robots......
i want to use a stepper motor for one my robot....
friends do you have any idea what would be the specifications and cost of a small stepper motor to run a toy car.....
and friends please tell me when can find the names of different relays and their working....

you should start with providing more details.
conventiona relays are electro mechanical devices and too slow
for stepping motors. you need transistor outputs to drive stpper.
if you stil want to use realys, you might want to consider solid state
versions (no moving parts) but this will cost much more than
couple of simple transistors.

Hello

hai,

I am a mechanical engineering student.
I would like to say some useful words to you.

There is a systematic procedure for every engineering design.
You mhave to follow that for better result and perfection.

If you desided to make a robot with a moving whheeled platform...

1. Fix the maximum design weight.
2. Then fix the number of tyres and radius.
3. Then find the load on each wheel and find the torque required.
Use rolling friction analysis.
4. Compare the torque with available motors(only a rough estimation)
and if necessary use gear systems.

Follow this procedure and find the torque requirment of the motor.

Hi All
i want to control a 3.8 V , 4 A bipolar stepper motor with saa1027 IC and i dont know how to amplify the output signal from the IC to the motor , can anyone help me ???? :?:
