Step Climber, help in programming!!

actually i am planning for a step climber...i have completed making a model...am using an avr microcontroller...but confused about the programming part...can neone help?

am using bascom compiler...

You program it to work with your specific hardware - and you don't give the slightest clue as to what that might be?.
