I need a programmable square wave generator for stepper motor control. I want to use a direct digital synthesizer such as the AD9851. Does anyone here know if the square wave is directly accessible at one of the pins? The data sheet is not clear (to me) on this, even though I believe the conversion from sine wave to square wave is done internal to the chip.
Thanks

See Figure 2 and Figure 11 on the data sheet.

Analog out goes to your low pass filter. Your low pass filter goes to analog in. Clock out is a square wave.
