hi,
I am looking for a circuit that takes the square root of input voltage. I would like it to work with a flat response for audio frequencies (100Hz-16kHz) and to be as simple as possible.
I think that in the days of analog computers there were common blocks for that sort of thing. This one is killing me because somehow I think the answer is so simple that it's hard. TGIF.
thanks for this circuit, I already had another one with a logarithm extractor a 1/2 gain and an exponentiator.
actually exp(1/2log(x))=sqrt(x) but I find it not being very steady...
