hi guys, my potato gun has 2 ignitions that use 2 seperate disposable camera boards to create a spark. the shutter button represents the fire switch. can i wire the leads from both shutter buttons into one spst switch? in paralell? to make the gun fire both ignitions at the same time.

Your asking whether you can basically hit both buttons at one time to get double the current to the spark?

Others will have to answer that as I'm not certain if it's a good idea and I don't know much about these disposable camera boards. Maybe putting diodes on the outputs preventing reverse current in case one doesn't fire, or one is faster than the other.
