sound activated

Can anyone help please. I'm tring to build a circuit that will allow a sound to latch an LED in the on mode.
There are two mics, whichever picks up the sound first latches it's LED on and disables the other LED.
Basically something like a Hanclap circuit but with two mics so I can tell who clapped first.
Help Please!! :?
