sony laser changing

hi, i have sony cdx-ca850 cd player. But laser is dead and cd doesn't play. Laser is kss-720a. I whant to know where i can buy another?

also, can i change kss-720a with something other kss series product?

How do you know the problem is the laser?

You can't replace the laser on a unit like that without a lot of work, effort and expense - it would be far easier to buy a new CD player.

A quick search shows a kss-720a costing about £50, while a whole new unit is around the same price.
