I have a few questions here, I'd appreciate your help.

1.) Can you build https://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/fmtrans.htm with**broken link removed**?

2.) On the above trasmitter, what modifications would I have to make in order to replace the electret mic with an input, the input will be used for a CD player if that is helpful.

3.) Can somebody give me a link on home brew PCBing, if you can thanks.

1. No, but you can , just kidding. If you want to build that circuit by etching your own board, i'd suggest to first get a PCB design program, it will do a better job than free hand. I use ExpressPCB myself, its free and you can get it here:

https://www.expresspcb.com/

I havnt homebrewed my own PC board in years, i usually just send a completed design into ExpressPCB to be manufactured. I could never match the quality of their boards in a homebrew set-up, and actually i dont have the time for it.

2. You could try capacitive coupling , should work fine.

3. Heres a link to a very helpful bunch that i drop in to ask questions once and while, im sure they will help you anyway they can.

Sorry...what?

Somehow i didnt think that answer was going to do. I was assuming you had some knowledge of the circuit.

I cant post the schematic here since its not mine, but if you take a look back at the schematic you will see that its composed of two main parts. A pre-amplifier/modulator , which is Q2 and its supporting components, and a Colpitts oscillator , built around Q1 ( near the antenna ).

Elliminate everything left of the 9 volt battery and connect your CD player input to C3 and use a common ground connection.
