Solar Power Management

Greetings!!
I recently read an article about solar power. Can I know what is the power efficiency of the lateset solar panel?
In the article, it says that the higher the temperature will make the solar panel less efficiency. So, is that cost effective if i install a cooling system to cool down the temparature in order to get more power?

The answer is sperical solar cells, although 40% sounds too good to be true.

Wouldn't a cooling system use energy, and mostly negate any increase in panel efficiency?

Active cooling will certainly use more energy than the solar cells generate but passive cooling might not.
