Small Voice Recognition project Advice..

G`Day all.
Am creating a vehicle project that requires a VR section. This part of the project requires a several one word input voice commands and each command would be outputted by a coded 8 bit digital cignal wich would be inputted to a MCU (decoder)for further action.

Been looking around for yonks, but can`t seem to get to far with this VR design advice. Looks like this forum could be the go

Like to here from 'ANYBODY' who knows about this magic technology.

You can get readymade ICs that will do speech recognition, see google

You can also use a DSP to do it. e.g. Microchip has a dspic library for speech recognition, see
