Sine wave generation using 8051

Can we use digital analog converter DAC 0800 instead of DAC 0808 in sine wave generation using 8051?

Sure, it needs resistors to set the voltage output from the current source output, a bipolar supply capable of at least +/- 10V, and filtering.

Seriously - you would probably be better off using an R2R ladder and an op-amp, or a PWM approach rather than the old DAC0800.
