is there any good software to simulate pic circuits while i wait for my programmer to turn up??

Yes MPLAB for Microchip, It's what you use to write & debug

- This is one of the FAQ's Read them they will be a lot of help

It your programmer has debug you can use the same MPLAB debugger to do ICD (In Circuit Debuggin)

actualy i was looking for something like proteus that i could use untill my junebug arrives so i could simulate some circuits first

if you're just simulating circuits use National Instrument's Multisim. They're better than PSpice in terms of simplicity.
