Hello all! First time poster here with limited knowledge of electronics.. One of the 7 connections feeding into this This 7 pin ribbon connector (in picture) is bad -- a stuck button/membrane on an old eliptical machine controller is causing this --and cannot be repaired or replaced. It is making control panel unusable. I don't know which one is bad and don't have testing equip to rule out. I was told the machine can operate without all 7 buttons.

Questions
- what size are the pins connecting into this?
- are there independent male female patch cables that can bridge 6 of the 7 ports without cutting/soldering? If so, where could I find?
- Any other suggestions?

Thank you!
Jorge
